Statistics of Sri Lankan workers in the Middle East

There is a vast number of Sri Lankan female workers coming into the Middle East, as the graphs will indicate below. Despite Sri Lanka’s efforts to limit the number of workers particularly in the Gulf due to increasing records of abuse, there is no suggestion that the data below has drastically changed over the years. Securing the human rights of these migrant and domestic workers is still regarded as a major challenge.

    Could u pls help me on the following.

    1. How many highly skilled / professional Sri Lankans are employed in UAE/ Abu Dhabi
    2. Appreciate latest figures .ie. 2009.2008.2007
    3. Do you have any researches done on Employee Well Being on Sri Lankan migrant workers done on sl office workers in UAE
    APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE as this is needed for a Masters thesis.
