Three young Emiratis were arrested by police in Fujairah for allegedly gang-raping two housemaids and murdering one of them, Khaleej Times reported today. One of the maids allowed her 15-year-old employer to invite his friends, aged 19 and 23, to have a night with her and another maid, a Sri Lankan 48-year-old woman. After the young men entered the maids’ room they gang-raped them. When the 48-year-old maid resisted, they beat her harshly and then strangled her to death. Colonel Humaid Al Yamahi, Director of Criminal Intelligence Department at the Fujairah police, said that the maid who allowed the men to visit her had no beating marks on her body and she will be charged for abetting the crime.
