This is a very unfortunate story. I'm very sorry about what happened to you. I hope you've moved on. But I have to say, mentioning that the man who raped you is Muslim has nothing to do with his horrible actions. This man's actions doesn't represent the rest of the Muslim population. Obviously, he has no faith. I really don't know what I would do if I were in your place especially being away from my family or anybody else to be on your side. But, I honestly believe you could have done something about your situation. What you could have done is more than

Everything in life hapens for a reason. Humans do not want to accept that fact. We are to make the best of what we have where we have it. If we choose not to be thankful in ALL things, then humans miss the truth. It is not what or how much you have it is what you do with what you have. Concerned that if all this bad stuff is happening in the middleast, WHY do these women continue to go over after hearing what has already happen. The women MUST take some accountibilty. If you have see and heard about the abuse, Is trying to make maybe a little more worth your life? If the govenrnment does not do anything, then wake up to the cold hard truth. Stop being so nieve to what looks good. Everything looks good and sucessful is not always good. I am sorry this is happening. The hard core facts is that human sometimes out themselves in harms ways look at the ALMIGHTY dollar. The fact of the matter is there is 3 sides to every story. What each one says and THE TRUTH! I say this with love and compassion. Stop looking for any government to give you something. If you leave your home and faily to seek money, then women you should have enough power within you to ask yourself a question: IS IT WORTH IT????????? I pray that people will wak up a face the facts of life

A very sad state of affairs.
Too many receptions at our consulates, meetings, fellowships, networking. Meals and expenses for these things are always allowed, eating up budgets.
People should realize that money is never enough. Even if they try to scheme and deal helpless people out of their property, money, belongings - they will never be satisfied with the piddling amount, so why do it? A lifestyle and eating good food because you took advantage of helpless people is a pathetic and lonely way to live.
I believe there is "karma" and these things come back to haunt them, or their children, their childrens' children and your loved ones in the end. But what do they care. They will be dead and buried long enough to see the consequences.
