Thank you for raising your voice on this deplorable issue. As someone who has seen many a right being trodden over for many Asian migrant labour, I can attest to this story.

Very recently an Asian friend of mine was duped by human trafickers into paying thousands of dollars for a boat ride into Italy from Libya. Needless to say the boat trip was aborted mid way in the Mediterranean when the boat overfilled, ran out of fuel, food and water. When they reached shore they were fired on by Libyan Police and my friend was arrested arbitrarily and sent to jail.

I hope the Libyan authorities would wake up to the plight of many Asian migrant labourers stranded in Libya with little or no options.
