Housemaids from Sri Lanka, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Philippines and African countries are trafficked and traded off in Sohar, Oman for less than 1500 Riyals. Most women are brought on visit visas to the UAE then brought into Oman. They are being hired for part time or on two years contracts.
