Udair Karuppaiah was recruited to Saudi seven years ago. In 2015, his Saudi sponsor took him to work in Bahrain on a visit visa and never renewed his visa and has not paid his salary for a year. Karuppaiah has been stranded without a visa and without a passport ever since. His daughter died in his absence, as he was unable to send money home for her treatment or return to India.
