Over 7,000 employees, 3,000 from India alone, of Kuwaiti infrastructure company Kharafi International have not been paid for upwards of 10 months. Many of their visas expired, leaving them to face massive fines if they attempt to return home. Most cannot afford to do either because they are owed salaries. Many of the workers are still living in cramped labour camps, but are not receiving support - including food - from the company. Workers have been protesting in front of the company office but to little avail.
