Saudi Arabia's government measures by imposing increases and fees on migrant workers led to the departure of 94.39 thousand foreigners from the Saudi labor market during the third quarter of 2017.

Authorities in the country have applied a fee of 100 riyals (US $ 26.7) per facility per month from July 2017, rising annually to 400 riyals ($ 106) a month for all facilities in 2020.

The Saudi government has also begun collecting money from expatriate workers between 300 and 400 riyals ($ 80 to $ 106.7) per month, according to the number of foreign workers, as of early 2018.
