The Kuwaiti daily Al-Qabas reported earlier this week about another suicide attempt by a maid in Kuwait. The Ethiopian women attempted to kill herself by jumping off the roof of her employer's house on the first floor in Hawalli. Medical staff that arrived at the scene found that she had multiple fractures in her arms and legs.

The paper reports about another unclear incident in which a 26-year-old Egyptian worker "fell" from the first floor in his office in Al-Ahmadi, a district in Kuwait City. He was also found with multiple fractures to his limbs.
Either this man fell because of poor safety in his workplace, or he tried to commit suicide. In any case, the authorities should investigate the causes of this fall.

Prior to these incidents, there have been eight reported cases of suicide or suicide attempts in Kuwait since October 27.
