Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported today the death, last Monday (20 September) of an Ethiopian worker in Lebanon, who was shot dead in the face with a rifle, in Zogharta. Her employer, Saad 'A., was arrested and claimed that he had asked her to carry his hunting rifle into the house after a round of shooting for fun outside the house. And while carrying the rifle, a shot was accidentally fired which killed the Ethiopian domestic worker.

Al-Akhbar quoted policy reports that the employer will be charged with criminal neglect, not more. The name of the Ethiopian domestic worker was not put in the report.
