This Eid, let’s acknowledge those who make our celebrations possible; the domestic workers who work extra-diligently to clean homes and set up meals for our family gatherings; the laborers who toiled through Ramadan under strict deadlines to finish constructing the stages and event venues that host our festivities; and year round, the migrant workers that sustain and help develop our communities.
