Abuse towards workers and domestic workers remains rampant. This article, published in the Lebanese Newspaper AlSafeer, describes the situation of migrant/domestic workers in Lebanon with a focus on the weekly deaths toll which is most of the time referred to as "suicide cases" although civil society activists disagree and prove otherwise in many instances. Add to that, Lebanese authorities rarely if ever take the investigations of those deaths seriously and many accounts by MWTF and ARM show that almost all those police reports and similair with slights changes in the name and nationality of those workers.
