52 weeks of Gulf Labor

On July 3, 2014

Gulf Labor's “52 Weeks” is a one year campaign featuring a weekly piece of art, text, action or event relating to the exploitation of migrant laborers building the Guggenheim, Louvre, and Sheikh Zayed National Museums in Abu Dhabi.  Below is a Flipboard compilation of each post so far.

52 Weeks of Gulf Labor.
Gulf Labor is a coalition of influential artists boycotting the Guggenheim museum currently under construction on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island, in protest of exploitative conditions endured by the project’s migrant workers.
